Education — In order to become engaged in politics in the most effective ways, young people can learn about political systems, political actions, political issues and other realities within and around the political system. They can also conduct action learning oriented activities that allow them to gain credit for their involvement.
Engagement- Engaging young people to change the world through politics means teaching them the skills they need to become involved and how to utilize resources available to them. These include communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. They will also be able to participating in fun collaborative simulations of campaigns, representation and law and order.
Inspiration — Current political tensions along with unconstitutional mandates from Governor's, school boards and businesses have stifled young people's sense of independence, control and hope. Consistently being told their voices don’t matter in politics and classrooms, and having their rights and dreams being disregarded young people may need inspiration and encouragement to become engaged.
